- At 1053 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located over North Webster, or 9 miles northeast of
Winona Lake, moving northeast at 60 mph. HAZARD…Tornado. SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely. - This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Noble, northwestern Whitley and east central Kosciusko
Counties, including the following locations… Big Barbee Lake,
Ridinger Lake, Kimmel, Etna, Sechrist Lake, Wilmot, Knapp Lake,
Cromwell, and Irish Lake.
